You’ve moved here and want proper AC for the first time
Many Silver Coast homes (Caldas da Rainha, Óbidos, Nazaré) have no AC. Summers are hot and winters cool and damp, so people want one system that does both. Renovating an older house? Fit it now while the walls are open
Lots of Silver Coast buyers are doing up an older Portuguese house. Mid-renovation is the cheapest moment to fit AC: the pipework goes in before the new finishes, so there’s no cutting into fresh walls later. We coordinate with your builder, route the pipes through the loft or in neat trunking, and on old stone walls we core-drill cleanly without cracking the stone. One system that cools and heats.
A holiday home by the coast, used part of the year
If your place is near the sea (Foz do Arelho, Nazaré, Peniche, Baleal) and you live abroad most of the year, you don’t need to fly over for the install. We survey it, send you the quote and photos by email, fit it, and send photos of the finished job. Close to the coast we use units with proper anti-corrosion protection so the salt air doesn’t shorten their life. Official fatura with your NIF.
Replacing old or noisy units that cost too much to run
If your units are 10+ years old on the old R-410A gas, they’re getting expensive to run and to top up: R-410A now costs far more than the R-32 used in modern units. Replacing them with a modern R-32 multi-split cuts the running cost by around 45% and ends the re-gas bills, typically paying back in about five to six years. In an older house we usually route the new pipework through the loft, with no damage to stone walls.
We moved to Caldas with the kids and the bedrooms are unbearable in summer and cold and damp in winter. I need the living room and the two kids’ rooms doing before the next summer. I want one fixed price and a company that actually finishes the job. Do you work in English?

Yes, all in English. For three rooms we’d fit a multi-split (one outdoor unit feeding the living room and two bedrooms), a reliable premium A++ unit that cools in summer and heats in winter. One fixed all-in price, fitted in a weekend, with the certificate for the manufacturer warranty.
We have a holiday house near Foz do Arelho and want air conditioning, but we live in the Netherlands most of the year. The summer visits are too hot. Can you survey, quote and install while we are away, and send us the invoice by email? And does the sea air there affect the unit?

I retired here for the quieter, cheaper life and managed with fans, but the summers are too much now.
